Discover 6 steps to a living relationship with Jesus

01

God loves you

This is the most important truth about your life.

God knows you, sees you, and loves you as you are. His love does not depend on your successes, mistakes, or past. He desires to be with you every day and lead you along the path of life.

Even if you don't always feel His presence, He never stops loving you.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are.”

— 1 Jn 3:1
02

Sin separates us from God

Why then do we not always experience God's love?

The reason is sin. Sin is not just breaking commandments. It is everything that separates us from God and destroys our relationship with Him.

Each of us experiences the consequences of sin: fear, selfishness, pain, loneliness, restlessness. Sin creates a chasm between people and God that we cannot overcome on our own.

“Your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you.”

— Is 59:2
03

Jesus Christ — the only Savior

God did not leave humanity alone with sin.

Out of love for us, He sent His Son — Jesus Christ. By His death on the cross and resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death, opening the way to the Father for every person.

What was impossible for humans, Christ accomplished.

Salvation is a gift of God's love that cannot be earned. It can only be received.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

— Acts 4:12
04

Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior

Jesus has already accomplished salvation. But God respects our freedom.

Therefore each of us must personally respond to His love: believe in Jesus, turn away from sin, and invite Him to become the Lord of our life.

This decision can become the beginning of a new life.

Prayer of trust

Lord Jesus Christ!
I open my heart to You.
I believe that You died and Rose for me.
I renounce sin and all evil.
I accept You as my Lord and Savior.
Lead me along the path of life and teach me to live in Your love.
Amen.

“If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

— Rom 10:9
05

The Holy Spirit — power for new life

God does not leave us alone after conversion.

He gives us the Holy Spirit — the One who teaches, leads, strengthens, and helps us live according to God's will.

The Holy Spirit transforms the human heart, gives peace, joy, and the strength to remain faithful to Christ even amid difficulties.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit,
I invite You into my life.
Fill me with Your love,
lead me along the path of God's will
and transform my heart.
Come, Holy Spirit!

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.”

— Ez 36:26

Live by faith in the church and community

Christianity is not a journey alone.

To grow in faith, we need people who seek God together with us, pray, and support one another.

That is why Jesus founded the Church, and the first Christians lived in community, shared their faith, and mutually helped one another.

If you desire to deepen your relationship with God, find a community where you can grow in faith.

If you don't yet have such a place — we invite you to the Galilea community.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

— Acts 2:42
